BUNKER HILL
1971 - Bunker Hill - Bas Le Riche, Les Falle, (Lady Gaynora of Parkenhurst/Bugsie), Derek Culshaw. Bunker Hill was first formed in mid 1971 when Bas Le Riche guitar, Derek Culshaw guitar and Les Falle drums, bored with playing other people's music combined their talents to form this new group.
1971 - Bunker Hill - The Bunker - Les Falle, Derek Culshaw, Bas Le Riche. The trio used to rehearse in a WWII bunker, a relic of the German occupation of Jersey, in the garden of Les' parent's house which was situated at the top of a hill.
1971 - Bunker Hill - The Bunker - Bas Le Riche, Les Falle, Derek Culshaw. Coupled with their interest in the American War of Independence and the associated battle of Bunker Hill the name was born.
1971 - Bunker Hill - La Fontaine, St Peter - First Gig - Bas Le Riche, Les Falle, Derek Culshaw.
1971 In late 1972 Dave Medder joined the group on bass enabling Derek to revert back to a 6 string.
